Mike Brummitt
Chief Executive
mike@cct.org.nzMike started life in this sector back in 2000 working for the National Autistic Society in England, before joining a private organisation that provided specialist supports to adults with an intellectual disability. Mike has a BSc (Hons) in Intellectual and Development Disabilities from the University of Kent (Tizard Centre) where he specialised in Positive Behaviour Support and Challenging Behaviour and an MBA from Otago University. You will also find him on the New Zealand Disability Support Network (NZDSN) Board and his children's School board of Trustees.

Wayne Cockburn
Business Support Manager
wayne@cct.org.nzWayne has lived and worked in Dunedin for 35 years in both the construction industry and the disability sector, he has completed a diploma in Business Management. Wayne is always on the lookout for new opportunities to connect with business and the wider community to benefit the people we support and Community Care Trust.

Pam Tomkins
Innovation & Development Manager
pamto@cct.org.nzPam and has over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles in disability and mental health. She appreciates the variety her role presents whether it be drafting proposals for new business opportunities or supporting a team of service managers in their work. Pam is currently completing her MBA through Otago University.

Jo Fowler
Service Manager - Independent Living
jo@cct.org.nzJo has been working at Community Care Trust since 2001 when she left the banking industry and joined us as our Service Manager in Independent Living. Jo is proud to work for an organisation with such great values and believes that every one of her team is committed to maintaining the professional standards that Community Care Trust are renowned for.

Simon McCosh
Service Manager - Community and Employment
simonmc@cct.org.nzSimon has been employed with CCT since 2004 and has a background in teaching, supported employment and micro enterprise. He currently sits on the National Employment Advisory Committee at NZ Disability Support Network and is passionate about people having paid employment opportunities.

Sarah Hayes
Quality & Risk Manager
sarah@cct.org.nzSarah started working for Community Care Trust in 2005 as a support worker and loved it. Not long after, she joined the Behaviour Specialist team where she progressed to the role of Service Manager. Sarah is now our Quality and Risk Manager and enjoys working with such a creative and supportive team. She is proud to work for an organisation that is dedicated to providing quality support.

Julie Carruthers
Service Manager - Central Lakes District
julieca@cct.org.nzJulie is our Service Manager for the Central Otago and Lakes District CCT. Prior to starting this role, Julie worked with St John as a Tutor engaging with students and client groups from all over Central Otago and from time to time worked as an Independent and Qualified Celebrant. She has a background in both social work and nursing and thoroughly enjoys her work with people and families.

Thomas Jenkin
Behaviour Specialist Service Manager - Registered Psychologist
thomasje@cct.org.nzThomas started working at the Community Care Trust in 2011, where he completed a behaviour specialist internship. He went on to get registration as a Psychologist and was appointed to the role of Service Manager in 2018. Thomas pro-actively supports his team to use evidence based interventions that lead to improved quality of life and Mana for people accessing support.
