The Advisory Panel

The Advisory Panel advises the Community Care Trust Aotearoa's Senior Leadership Team on policy and practice through the lens of lived experience.

The Panel is made up of five people with lived experience of disability and is guided by the principles of Enabling Good Lives. Committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the Panel centres the voices, rights, mana and dignity of disabled people and people receiving support, ensuring these are reflected in both CCT policy and the everyday practice of support.

The members of the panel are (from left to right): Reuben Rooney, Tara Hook, Sam Chilton, Luella Wheeler and Philip Lomas.

Luella sits on the CCT Board of Trustees representing the Panel and people receiving support at governance level. The group is facilitated by Anna Tsukigawa.
