Our work is varied, and we partner with a range of people including people with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, youth, dual diagnosis, and people with a disability that have committed a criminal offence. 

In response to demand we are expanding into Christchurch and are seeking to appoint several Support Workers to join our new team, supported by two Christchurch based Service Managers.  To be successful in applying for a Support Worker role your personal values will align with those of Community Care Trust: Respect, reliability, transparency, and responsiveness. 

A key factor to your success will be the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with people we support and with your team.  All positions have guaranteed hours, and we welcome further discussion regarding your availability should you be offered an interview. 


Support Workers, Christchurch

Full-time and part-time positions available.  These positions may include working at least one weekend shift and could involve evening work and sleepovers. We also have wake-over shifts available.


Paid training will commence on 26 October 2021 or by negotiation.       


You will be a welcome addition to our team if you have:

You must have: 

  • Current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at your own cost)
  • Full current NZ Driver Licence and be eligible to work in New Zealand
