Rangiora Support Worker

Closes: 27 May, 2022 at 5:00 PM

Full Time or Part Time

Looking for a change or a new challenge? Interested in working alongside people doing something meaningful? Then read on…

CCT has recently set up services in Christchurch, but is a longstanding organisation with our roots in Otago and Southland with a reputation for ‘walking the talk.’  We have been providing support to people for a long time, but always bring a fresh and innovative approach to all that we do!  Our team are an integral part of the magic, and bring a forward-thinking, collaborative approach with a strong desire to make a difference.  This is support work – but probably not as you know it.

We are currently looking for an experienced, calm and compassionate support worker. Ideally someone who has experience working alongside and building understanding with people who experience significant obstacles in their daily living, which at times is expressed in behaviour that can be challenging.

If this sounds like you, we would like to talk with you about employment with the Community Care Trust (CCT) in the Rangiora area, so please apply now.

An immediate start is preferred, but willing to work with you on the commencement timeframe.

This may suit someone with a level 4 qualification or relevant experience. We will provide you with comprehensive training and support to get you up to speed, and with the right training you can earn up to $27.43 per hour.

Go ahead and apply now.  We can fill you in about what makes us unique at an interview, or let us know if you have any questions by contacting one of the People and Capability team at recruit@cct.org.nz or call 0800 800 001 and ask for David or Frankie.

 The serious stuff…

  • Have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccination and be intending to have a booster when eligible
  • Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
  • Have a valid visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry

Our organisation has a strong commitment to safeguarding children and any employees will be vetted to a level appropriate to the role for which they have applied.
