ABOUT THE ROLE: 

We are looking for support worker/s that are keen to support and make positive changes to the Youth we support in our community? 

We are currently looking for experienced, calm and compassionate support workers within our Youth Service. Ideally someone who has experience working alongside and building understanding with young people who experience significant obstacles in their daily living, which at times is expressed in behaviour that can be challenging.

This position may suit someone with a level 4 qualification or relevant experience. We will provide you with comprehensive training and support to get you up to speed, and with the right training you can earn up to $28.25 per hour.  

An immediate start is preferred, but willing to work with you on the commencement timeframe.

The serious stuff…  To work for us you must:  

  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one) 
  • Hold a full current NZ Driver License  
  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand  
  • Have a valid visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry 
  • Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
