Behaviour Specialist Intern Invercargill

The role is primarily developing positive behaviour support programmes for people we support. However the position provides a lot of opportunity and development. Members of the Behaviour Team have been involved in Cultural Projects, Research, Healthy Workplace Challenges, and Strategic Plans. We try and match people to their strengths and passion to make Community Care Trust a great place to work.   

 Required –

  • Current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at your own cost)
  • Full current NZ Driver License and be eligible to work in New Zealand

  • Reflective and critical thinker
  • Ability to work independently and to actively contribute in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
  • Able to maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally

 This is a part-time, salaried position, with usual hours of work being Monday to Friday.  The Internship involves completing professional competencies associated with the role over an 18 month period.

Qualification and Prior learning will be considered in length of internship and remuneration.
